When I was a child my mother would tell me that killing a spider would cause 7 days of rain after the fact. This however was not an issue for me since I have always quite enjoyed the rain.

I’ve never heard of this but I’ve heard something relatively close. I recalled my childhood to me that how our parents and grandparents were trying to stop us from wrongdoings.
