Often times, when I’m stressed, I suffer from insomnia. When this happens, I lay in bed for hours just thinking about my problems and how to solve them … which stresses me even more.

I understand. I do that too sometimes and then I would begin worrying about not falling asleep, which would also go on for hours.

I struggle with the same thing. Whenever I am stressed I stay up for hours worrying.

I have the same problem. What I find helpful is that I usually watch or think about topics that I like when I am in bed. As soon as I have a relaxed and cheerful mood, I close my eyes and try to remain in that feeling. This way my mind and body feel comfortable enough to fall asleep. I hope it helps.
