A couple of years ago, I went out for dinner with some friends after a long and difficult day of work and school. Even though I was with a great group of people, I was thinking about the future and felt very unmotivated with school and work. During the dinner, I went to the washroom and saw a sticky note that said “You’re doing great!” Someone anonymously put that sticky note up on the wall with the intention to lift up the emotions of random people. That note was a small gesture but it was a really sweet thing for someone to do and it made me smile.
